Marielle Suba goes by Mar sometimes but it’s mostly out of convenience so if you’d like to pronounce her name correctly, it’s “mah-ree-elle.” In this particular crossroads of her life, her ideal dinner companions are Milan Kundera (for stories about bowler hats), Hayao Miyazaki (for stories about castles in the sky), and Yves Saint Laurent (for stories about the trenchcoat). And they would be eating a 5hour-long fifty-course meal here in Rome, because she’s on a mission to eat everything in the city.
